Background

Our client is an international-long-distance wholesaler in Spain, focus on call shops business. In the light of the emergence of MVNOs, the company decided to lever existing assets of channel (call shops) relationship and knowledge of international-call consumption patterns to launch MVNO operations oriented to the ethnic segment (multi-ethnic immigrants in Spain).

Definition of the entry strategy.
Detailed revision of the business plan.
Support in the process of searching a potential investor and due diligence.
Support in the negotiation process with host MNO and key partners (Call Center, Logistic, Handset, SIM, etc.).

Overall processes and operation model definition and technical specification.
Project Management Office (PMO).

Results

Successfully funded by a Kuwaiti investor group.
A pilot test was launched in July 2008 with the commitment to commercially launch in December 2008.
